Do you need to know my music choice in advance of the event?

No. We do not need to know your music selection in advance. Just bring your burned CD on the day. We have no restrictions on competitors dancing to the same music. However, if you are unsure if your music meets the rules and regulations, please let us know in advance.

How do I enter the Online Heat?

The online heat is open only to those who have competed in person at a regional heat. It is free to enter. The online heat will take place after all of the regional heats have finished. The rules for the online heat are the same as those for the main competition. DO NOT UPLOAD YOUR VIDEO UNTIL THE DATE SPECIFIED.

Do I need to prepare a new routine for the Grand Final or Online Heat?
Can I perform the same routine at the Grand Final that I used in the regional heat?

This is totally up to you. The routine you use at the Grand Final can be exactly the same, or completely different, to your heat routine.

What time do competitors need to arrive at the venue?

All competitors are requested to arrive for their heat no earlier than one hour before doors-open time, and no later than 1/2 hour before doors-open time to check in. Competitors arriving late for check-in may forfeit their place in the competition.
Timings many be different at the Grand Final. Finalists will be contacted with timings closer to the date.
