Official Announcement of Intention

  • B&G Events would like to formally announce that PoleDivas Championships will not be running in 2011.

    Both Robyn and Fay would like to thank everyone who has worked with and/or support us over the past 6 years. We would particularly like to thank Jo Ford, the creator of PoleDivas.

    Robyn, Fay and Jo are extremely proud of PoleDivas and its achievements.

    Since PoleDivas was founded in 2006 Pole Fitness and Pole Dance has gone through a lot of changes. Over the past 6 years of PoleDivas we have seen Pole Industry flourish not only across the UK but Worldwide. PoleDivas is proud to have been part of the spearhead of that growth. Many rules that were first implemented by B&G Events are now used as Standard Rules in Competitions Worldwide. For example the non-inversion rules to benchmark beginners from advanced competitors,
    compulsory elements and dress code wording.

    We wish everyone best of luck in all upcoming competitions and look forward to being in the audience this year.
